The bio-tech industry is big business and as we approach the 21st century there is increasing evidence of the emergence of the global corporation - a form of corporate feudalism. This 'profits before people' stance is even more threatening in less developed countries, locking peasants into a future of total dependence - a new form of enslavement. |
