Mozambique: Who Calls the Shots (Hanlon)

Abstract of Review
Title:Mozambique: Who Calls the Shots by Joseph Hanlon
Reviewer:Mike Powell
Location:Vol.19 No.53 (March 1992), pp117-119
This is the latest in a series by Joe Hanlon to look in detail at events in Southern Africa in general and in Mozambique in particular. As in the previous books he combines a clear sympathy for the objectives of the Mozambican revolution with readiness to be critical (and with a journalist's love of detail). For reasons which he explains, much of the detail necessarily has to cite anonymous sources talking about anonymous organisations but is done with a scrupulous regard for the truth.
