Women in Nigeria (WIN) is an organisation which originated from the enthusiasm and interest evoked initially by the First Annual Women in Nigeria Conference, held in 1982. It was at this conference that a group of dedicated women and men from all over Nigeria committed themselves to the task of establishing an organisation which would work unceasingly for an improvement in the condition of Nigerian women.
