Location:Vol.13 No.35 (Spring 1986), pp83-85
Socialists agree that the Ethiopian Revolution was an event of major historical significance, but have been sharpely divided in their evaluations of its legacies. ROAPE has published two books, numerous articles and several briefings and book reviews, reflecting diverse judgements of the revolution, of the Dergue, of its opponents, of the Eritrean struggle for national liberation and of the resistance among the oppressed nationalities who together make up a majority of the people of Ethiopia (see the index to ROAPE published with this issue).
