 The Second Congress of the NUEWmn was held in January 1983 in the liberated areas of Eritrea, near the frontline trenches. Luul outlines the plans of the women's organisation, the number of delegates attending the conference: workers, herders, peasant farmers in addition to delegates from the Middle East, Europe and North America. She called for women to take up arms against colonialism, to support the ongoing class struggle and to organise against male dominance, cultural oppression and for their equality and oppression.
