We, the undersigned, leaders of different parties in Chad, meeting at Lagos (Nigeria) between 13 and 18 August 1979 to consult with the official representatives of the following countries: Cameroon, Libya, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sudan, Congo, Liberia, Benin, Central African Empire, and the representative of the Organisation for African Unity (the said countries acting as participants and observers) which have accepted the Kano Accord;
