Graham Harrison is in the Department of Politics at the University of Sheffield, UK.
He has made three field trips to northern Mozambique, and is currently writing a book about rural politics in this area which looks at the political history of the construction of state power in the district of Mecufi, Cabo Delgado.
He is interested in corruption, its relationship to development theory, and the impact of economic and political liberalisation. He has also written on political identities in Africa.
