Author - Ray Bush
Ray Bush is a member of the ROAPE editorial working group, and joint Reviews Editor. He is Head of the Politics Department at the University of Leeds, and Director of the University's African Studies Unit.
He has conducted research on the politics of resources, food security, famine and structural adjustment. Publications include on politics in Africa and recently on coping with poverty and the environment in Egypt. Current work includes environmental politics in Egypt, and the consequences of liberalisation for that country's poor farmers.
