Class, Race and Gold: A Study of Class Relations and Racial Discrimination in South Africa by F A Johnstone
Vol.3 No.7 (Winter 1976), pp127-131
The publication of this book, based upon the author's 1972 Ph.D. thesis, is most welcome. ‘The thesis has already made an important contribution to the struggle against the previously dominant position which bourgeois liberal ideology held over the conceptualization's of the South African social formation. It is to be hoped that publication will serve to extend its influence further.
